VEP

A proportional control valve system provides the ability to infinitely control the position of the internal spool assembly which increases or decreases the amount of flow or pressure being released from the valve. SMC offers 2 types of proportional control valves, a pressure type (N)VEP which controls secondary pressure by varying the current through the solenoid, and a flow rate type (N)VEF which controls air flow by varying current through the solenoid.

SV

The SV series employs a multi-connector instead of the conventional lead wires for internal manifold wiring. By connecting each block with a connector, changes to manifold stations are greatly simplified. Cassette base type manifolds offer the ultimate in flexibility. Manifold sections can be added using a simple release mechanism. Conventional tie-rod base type manifolds are also available. The use of 34 pin connectors allows up to 16 stations with double solenoids.

SX

The SX series unique design combines both solenoid assemblies (when using double solenoid 2/3 position) on the same side of the valve, opposite the ports, allowing for greater space savings and simplified wiring access. The SX series valves are available with numerous manifold options which allow for easier installation and improved operation.

SY

Series SY offers major advances in valve performance for cost-effective solutions to your requirements. The series offers high flow with low power consumption in a compact design. The SY is available in body ported or base mounted styles and can be used individually or manifold mounted.

SYJ

The SYJ Valve is an innovative combination of space efficiency and performance superiority which provides real value to the design solution. Whether designed in a manifold or used as a single valve, this small profile increases design flexibility and minimizes space requirements. The SYJ valve utilizes a low power (0.5 watts standard) pilot solenoid design, which dramatically reduces thermal heat generation. This improves performance, decreases operating costs, and allows for direct control by PLC output relays. All electrical connections for SYJ Valves are available with lights and surge suppression. SYJ series valves can be configured on base mounted manifolds, or individually on subplates, creating a variety of solutions to meet your broadest engineering needs.

SZ

Series SZ3000 is a 5 port solenoid valve, body ported type with a cassette style manifold. The SZ series offers high reliability and long life of 50 million cycles or more. The connector entry direction can be changed from top to side with a simple operation. Low power consumption and a fast response time of 10ms are obtained with a unique pilot valve construction.

VF

Series VF, a five port pilot solenoid valve, offers large flow capacity in a compact size. The VF is available in many variations including three types of manual override and four types of electrical entry. Common exhaust for main valve and pilot valve is also available.

VFR

Series VFR consists of 5 port pilot solenoid valves with rubber seals and base mounted type manifolds, available in plug-in and non plug-in styles. Port sizes range from 1/8 to 1/2 with Rc(PT), NPTF & G(PF) thread types available. Various options also available.

VFS

Series VFS consists of 5 port pilot solenoid valves with metal seals and base mounted or body ported type manifolds. Base mounted manifolds are available in plug-in and non plug-in styles. Body ported manifolds are available with bar or separate type manifold bases. Port sizes range from 1/8 to 3/4 with Rc(PT), NPTF & G(PF) thread types available. Various options also available.

VJ

The VJ series is a rubber seal solenoid valve available in a body ported or base mounted version.  The VJ3000 based mounted valve is offered in a 4 or 5 port style, while the body ported version is a 5 port valve.  The VJ5000 and VJ7000 series, body ported and base mounted are 5 port.  Although the VJ series standard power consumption is 1WDC, a low watt type (0.45WDC) is available.

VK

The VK3000 series is a 5 port solenoid, direct poppet, rubber seal valve. It meets copper free specifications as all parts in contact with fluids are made of non-copper materials. A compact valve (width 18 x length 68mm), the VK3000 is available in a body ported or base mounted style.

VQ

VQ valves are ideal for applications requiring high speed, frequent operation, stable response time and long service life. Innovative mounting methods allow valves to be changed without entirely disassembling the manifold. Built-in one-touch fittings save piping time and labor.

VQC

The VQC series has five standard wiring packages bringing a world of ease to wiring and maintenance work, while the protective enclosures of three of them conform to IP67 standards for protection from dust and moisture. The use of multi-pin connectors to replace wiring inside manifold blocks provides flexibility when adding stations or changing manifold configuration. The VQC series has outstanding response times and long life.

VQD

VQD1000 series 4 port, direct operated, poppet solenoid valve offers large flow capacity in a compact, lightweight body. Vacuum applications (up to -100kPa) are possible. Components of the VQD1000 valves that are in contact with fluid are all copper free. The VQD series offers a remarkably quick and stable response time.

VQZ

Series VQZ base mount solenoid valves combine convenience with durability and performance in a more traditional mounting style. Series VQZ Body Ported Solenoid Valves combine flexibility with high performance and long life in an inline body style.

VSS/VSR

Series VSS/VSR is an ISO5599/II plug-in, base mounted interface valve. The 5 port design offers maximum flexibility and is available in either a high flow rubber seal (model VSR) or matched ground spool and sleeve (model VSS). The lateral plug-in style manifold makes it easy to increase or decrease the manifold stations without wiring work.

VZ

The VZ series consists of 4 & 5 port solenoid valves with rubber seal. Base mounted and body ported valves are available with standard, flat cable, DIN rail mounted plug-in and non plug-in manifolds. Various options are available. The VZ series is still available although direct replacements for each series have been implemented. See individual series information for replacements.

VZS

The VZS series is a 5 port pilot solenoid, base mounted type valve, available in a plug-in or non plug-in style. The metal seal makes it possible for use in non-lubrication and dry air. Manifold options include control unit, serial interface unit and a coaxial fitting.
